Friday (1/10) Seminar Speaker – Is Global Missions Dead?

Rich Bae is a second-generation midwestern Korean-American. He received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University and his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. He met his wife, Susan, at medical school, and they both finished their family medicine residency at In His Image in Tulsa, OK. He attended Dallas Theological Seminary while his wife pursued further medical training in Austin. They left in 2007 for Asia through SIM, debt-free and with a newborn. In Asia, he planted and pastored an international church for foreigners while using his medical skills to build relationships in the community. God moved his family back to the U.S. in 2017, where he serves at SIM USA. He has three children (13, 11, 8) and currently lives in Charlotte, NC. He is passionate about helping people analyze and think through their challenges as they follow Jesus.
